My passion is to be the best educator I can be! Since a little girl, my biggest desire was to become a teacher. There is nothing better than living every day and working your dream job. It truly brings me tears of joy on most days. I love that I can be creative and work with young children by incorportating engaging activities. FIRST GRADE IS THE HARDEST GRADE I HAVE EVER TAUGT AND BY FAR MY FAVORIATE. Each chid is unique in his or her own way. I enjoy helping them learn and have those lightbulb moments. My GOAL is to help children LOVE to learn!
I am a mother of 4 beautiful children, Ages 16,13, 7, and 2. I also have a dog named Tulah-Mae and a cat name Gator (you guessed it, found him at school). I am married to a wonderful man who puts up with my tireless hours working in my classroom, grading papers, and cutting out laminated items. He understands the life and dedication of a first grade teacher for sure. When I am not working on things for students, I enjoy any creative activity, cooking, playing word games, drinking my coffee, shopping, being outdoors, and exploring.
